Digital print giant Xerox has announced the upcoming launch of two new inkjet presses, the first in
what the firm says is a series of inkjet offerings to come; PLS Print Logistic Services in Germany has
beaten out stiff competition in the race to become the first European beta site customer for Konica
Minolta’s KM1-UV digital sheet-fed press; although Drupa is the biggest event on print’s trade show
calendar, other exhibitions are becoming increasingly influential in the industry; and following the
retirement of Printing Charity chief executive Stephen Gilbert in January, an interim replacement has
been appointed.
